Nicolai is the new cultural hub for Kolding, Denmark. With ambitions of being diverse, inclusive and a space for everyone - especially across different age groups - we approached the task of creating Nicolai's new corporate identity and brand strategy from a playful angle. The basis for the work became the child-like rhyme: "Punktum, punktum, komma, streg - sådan tegnes Nicolai." (Period, period, comma, line - this is how to draw Nicolai.") The aim was also to create an identity that allows for creativity in expression and which emphasises collaboration and co-creation in culture; these are at the heart of Nicolai's DNA.
