Kunst på grænsen
‘Kunst på grænsen’ – ‘Art on the border’ is a series of exhibitions, in which six museums are looking at the relationship between the Danish and German art scene from the 1800s to today. ‘Kunst på grænsen’ focuses on how Denmark censored German art in the wake of the historical conflicts and disagreements at the end of the 1800s. Disagreements that influenced the definition of what was good or bad taste as well as limited the artistic freedom.
